Where can you vape?

From the entry into force of the TPD in Spain and even before that until today it remains unclear for many hospitality professionals whether or not it can be vaperated in their establishments. We will try to clear these doubts for users and hoteliers or both.

We already know that by law it cannot be empted in hospitals, schools, public transport and public bodies, both governmental and autonomous. In my opinion we are the vapers themselves, who defend our product must set an example. There is still and in an unre compre understandable confusion around where it is or is not allowed to vape.

Since it was scientifically proven that there is little passive vaper can do in this regard administrations to restrict the use of our personal vaporizers in leisure places, but we should still take into account several factors that will undoubtedly help our sector and ourselves.

I'm sure more than one of us has gone from having a coffee or Gin Tonic as God commands and taking out our vaper with our favorite eliquid to enjoy well. At that moment the person who is in the establishment or someone who is taking something next to us tells us: Hey, kid! here you can't smoke!, to take the Zen moment for a sack. Well, these are few but there are and here it is better to be polite and explain what it is to vape and inform the person in question because ignorance is so daring. But what if they tell us we can't vape?

• First problem, children under the age of 18 and we must be very aware of this. Our product is intended for adults only and only. Therefore we must abte ourselves from using our devices as much as possible in places where there are minors. It should be remembered here that it is an important reason for us to be further restricted from using it, even in all public places and to equate ourselves with tobacco.

• Second problem, anti-narcotics, but vapers are civilized human beings. By law in all leisure establishments it is allowed to vape. Now, also by law the hotelier can forbid us to do so. If we see reluctance on the part of the clientele or the hotelier itself it is best to ask if we can vape, although legally it can be done we must be considered and educated on this subject. After all, we are one more customer and if they do not let us go to a place where they do not prohibit their use on the premises.

• Third problem, vapers party; "steam ground". I tell you an anecdote, vapossect's company dinner situation. It had already happened to us in the restaurant, but in one of the pubs where we were, a group of people come into it. Already when they looked at us they could already see their faces of stupidity and urged the waiter not to vape because they said they were itching their eyes, among other things. The boss, who is also a friend, told me about the "bajini" to which I replied that we would surely find other places where customers do not "itch their eyes" to see people vaping. We had already retreated to a corner and vape towards the ground so as not to disturb the rest of the clientele. Finally the waiter explained that we could vape and he measured so that we would all stay in his establishment... and this is what it's all about being tolerant and respectful of both sides, although sometimes we can be wrong.

As recommendations exist today on the market devices that produce less steam and very efficiently satisfy our nicotine anxiety. We mean pods, small devices, more or less powerful but that using them with nicotine salts can ensure that we vape in leisure establishments without giving the "cante" and all happy.

Finally it is always good to discuss the issue with our bartender on duty, because if they are aware of the subject they will do so with the customers of the softening and this in the long run is good for everyone. Over time and considering the fake news with which we are attacked, I see people more aware of the sector, although much remains to be done I think it is best to set an example ourselves, the first.
