Commercial Resistances

Commercial Resistances

By : Alberto - Categories : Tips Rss feed

Commercial resistances in this case are those that give us steam and flavor to our appliances, primordial and essential in any e-cigarette device.

To do this we will review those currently intended for our devices and used in Sub-Ohm Clearmizers.

The commercial resistances, are the ones that we can see in all the clearings of the market. There can be different sizes and shapes, just like that, these resistors have different types of functions and sensations when it comes to vaping.

CONVENTIONAL RESISTANCES (SS316L & KANTHAL A1)

The material used by this type of material is usually steel (SS316L) or kanthal (KA1). They are formed by one or more spring-shaped threads coated with cotton, all prefabricated. This type of resistances can be found from different brands, SMOK, Vaporesso, UWELL, Voopoo, with different ohmiajes and shapes, (later we will explain the ohmiaje). In this case taste and steam usually shake hands, but their duration is more limited than those mentioned below.

CERAMIC RESISTORS

They are widely used and in high demand. They are usually, most, of high ohmiajes, (0.3ohm, 0.4ohm, 0.6ohm), all to favor and grow the flavor in our liquids. Mainly, they are resistors with yarn wrapped in a round piece of ceramic and in turn by cotton. They tend to be more durable than the others.

MESH/MESH RESISTORS

Lately the most fashionable ones are. They come in this material accompanied by ceramics in most kit devices currently. The mesh is also usually made of steel or kanthal and favors steam, in its defect you may lose some flavor and its autonomy is usually less, but if you want steam these are your resistances. Ohmiaje is usually between 0.15ohm and approximately 0.18ohm.

WHAT RESISTANCE TO CHOOSE?

Depending logically on our taste, we will choose one material or another, but always taking into account the Voltage and Wattage in our mods. If we have "pen" style products like Veco Solo or Vape Pen 22, you wouldn't need to consider these parameters.

Most manufacturers, tell us a recommended wattage for the use of their resistors, but EYE,beware of that. What we do have to keep in mind is to have our voltage well placed without much care of the watts. IMPORTANT, always what we usually recommend to our customers, is not to go up from 3.6v when vaping, taking into account that 4.0 or 4.2v is the maximum for the resistance to fulfill its function, and lasts as long as possible, I explain below:

If, for example, we have a resistance of 0.20ohm, and it is reflected 2.4v, we will be at about 35-40w, it is true that we can go up more, as we go up watts, volts will rise. If we leave the watts at 60w, the voltage will be about 3.6, I optimize it for the use of our resistors.

HOW LONG DO RESISTANCES USUALLY LAST?

It's variable. It depends on many parameters, depending on the use of the person, the liquid that we are using... If we use the parameters well and take into account those small tips, do not doubt that they will last you the optimal for this type of resistance, which is usually about 5 to 7 days.
